Our course features 18 scenic holes with challenging hills, valleys, and water features.

Golf Members have open access to practice putting and chipping greens, a practice bunker, and driving range with both grass and mat tees. The Golf Pro Shop provides bag and cart storage as well as an excellent selection of apparel and clubs, club customization and repair as well as special order services. Originally designed by Gene Hamm, the course was re-designed in 1999 by John LaFoy. Our greens were replaced with Champion Bermuda grass in 2017 and they are thriving! Come experience the best greens in the area. Our golf staff strives to assist each member in providing the greatest level of enjoyment of the game.

Golf Course

Originally designed by Gene Hamm, and re-designed in 1999 by John LaFoy, the course features 18 distinctive holes with challenging hills, valleys, creeks and ponds surrounded by a peaceful and scenic neighborhood. The greens were replaced with Champion Bermuda Grass in 2017 and are some of the very best in the region. Members enjoy practicing on our driving range with both grass and mat tees and open access to a putting and chipping green with a bunker.

Golf Associations

Golf Members have the opportunity to join several Associations that foster camaraderie and social connections with weekly play, special events and tournaments. Members enjoy much more than just the game. Social events, breakfasts, luncheons, dinners and parties are cherished traditions.

Junior Golf

Chapel Hill Country Club is home to the largest Operation36 program in the world! Members as young as 5 begin learning the basics and enjoying the game. Our Junior Golf Academy employs weekly classes and weekend tournaments with parents caddying for their children. This program has grown rapidly and is a tremendous part of family life at the Club.

PGA Professionals & Instruction

Chapel Hill Country Club employs four PGA Professionals to assist you in achieving your goals. Private golf instruction is available year round. Clinics are also offered for group instruction.
